Clearance Signs

Any highway that has a structure with a low clearance must have a Clearance Sign. Per the U.S. Department of Transportation, the criteria are set to provide at least a 1-foot differential between the maximum legal vehicle height and the roadway, with additional allowances for future resurfacing.

Limit the serious damages to structures from large vehicles by mounting Clearance Signs at bridges, drive-through areas, parking lots, and overpasses. Ensure drivers can clearly notice the maximum vehicle height with bold, highly noticeable Clearance Signs. Properly warn truck drivers, forklift drivers, and workers of the height in specific areas and prevent damage to property and serious injuries with Clearance Signs.
