Identify Specific Hazards In Transport Vehicles

The U.S. Department of Transportation requires the proper identification and classification of hazardous materials during transporting and shipping. This regulation (HM-181 & HM-206)can be further explored on The U.S. Department of Transportation website.
Placards are also ideal as accessory labeling to identify appropriate placards on transport vehicles to identity the proper hazard. The placard identifies the material within the proper classification. There are nine (9) main hazard classifications, in which many have divisions. These have mandated color schemes, symbols, words and numbers to identify the hazardous material. They are printed in a diamond design.

Accuform carries a full line of D.O.T. placards, identification numbers, placard holders, flip placards and shipping labels. For more information please call 1-800-237-1001 or click on out LiveHelp icon.
