Ultra-Glow™ Exit Signs

Ultra-Glow™ Exit Signs Virtually maintenance-free, Ultra-Glow™ Exit Signs meet the strict requirements of the UL Listed 924 standard - without the need for electrical power, changing bulbs, registration or documentation, and concerns over chemical content. The advanced-formulated photoluminescent panel is nearly white with green tint. the panel absorbs and stores energy from ambient fluorescent, metal halide, and mercury vapor lights* (listed accordingly) to produce a highly-visible glow-green illumination in the dark. Under normal operating conditions, the signs can last for over +25 years. UV light will not degrade the glow properties. There are no serviceable or replacement parts. Ultra-Glow™ Exit Signs can also be used for low-level applications. Note: Light, equivalent to 54 LUX* (5 foot-candles) lighting, must shine onto the sign face at all times during building occupancy (to meet the photoluminescent standards). Use a light meter to check this requirement.
