Stock Clerk


Stock Clerks perform a variety of functions to make sure inventory is well maintained, and that customer's orders get put together on time

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Inspect product received from production looking for defects, quantity discrepancies, incorrect product, or any quality and/or color issues
  • Receive inspected product, package as needed and deliver to home location
  • Use handheld tablet to access pick lists and pull products from inventory according to production requirements
  • Scan products to stock inspection
  • Maintain stock shelving, keeping inventory neat and organized
  • Inventory and replenish stock product as needed
  • Inspect, receive and home product sent from receiving and/or Warehouse 2
  • Use Warehouse Transfer Screen to transfer requested products as needed
  • Receive and home returned product
  • Mitigate return issues with CSR’s as needed
  • Build kits and plan to manage special order items/inventory as needed
  • Pull and inspect product for specialty customers
  • Label all product as required
  • Track, prepare and organize multiple orders to ship on time
  • Communicate with other department coordinators and expeditors to attend to any priority lines, as needed
  • Communicate with CSR’s as needed for specialty details, questions or any other order issues
  • Ensure orders are packaged properly in preparation for shipping

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Good command of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Good reading, spelling and comprehension skills
  • Must demonstrate a good understanding of basic math functions
  • Must be able to use and navigate a computer
  • Must demonstrate a high attention to detail
  • Ability to take direction and work well with others
  • 3-6 months related experience and/or training required
  • 1-3 years’ related experience preferred
  • High school diploma; or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience
