GHS Labels & Supplies

The Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of labeling is an internationally agreed-upon protocol to create consistent labeling of chemicals on a global level. All chemical manufacturers, importers, and distributors must ensure that each container of hazardous chemical leaving the workplace is labeled, tagged, or marked - per OSHA guidelines.

The required elements on a GHS label are: product identifier, signal word, pictograms, hazard statements, precautionary statements, and supplier identification. Employees must receive GHS training to ensure they clearly understand the information printed on GHS signs or labels.

GHS posters in centralized locations show employees guidelines at a glance. SDS binders and SDS centers ensure employees can easily access Hazardous Materials information and Safety Data Sheets. AccuformNMC carries a wide selection of GHS labels and supplies that businesses need.
