Setting up your Decibel Meter Sign doesn't require additional calibration. Just plug it in and watch the digitally display showcase the noise level.
2. Are the sound levels 100% accurate?
Measures are more or less than 1.5 decibels.
3. Is there a battery-operated version of this Decibel Meter Sign?
Currently, this product is not available in a battery-operated version. We do offer a wheeled assembly with handle for simple transport of aluminum mobile cart and the product can operate for weeks with one fully powered 650 CCA charged a battery (not included).
4. Do I need a remote control for this product?
A remote is not necessary to operate our Decibel Meter Signs.
5. Can the numbers change colors once they reach a certain level?
Unlike out Electronic Scoreboards, the number on this display can not change after it reaches a certain level. The color will remain red.
6. Can I place this outdoors to measure the sound of my neighbors?
We recommend limited outdoor use for this product. Working environment: 32-104 degrees F, 10-70% relative humidity (RH)*.
*Not recommended for high humidity environments.
