Gate Valve Lockouts

Gate valve lockouts prevent unauthorized users from turning your valves by completely encasing valve handles within the hinged clamshell mechanism. Further secure them with a padlock, which is sold separately. You can also attach bright SiteTag® or STOPOUT® labels to provide immediate identification of the site or worker responsible for the valve.

Standard gate valve lockouts are made with durable polypropylene plastic that can withstand harsh chemicals and extreme environments. For extra security, the STOPOUT® Gate Valve Lockout is equipped with a pry guard edge that prevents tools from opening your valve. If you need constant visibility of your valve, transparent lockouts are also available.
