California Title 24 ADA Restroom Door Signs
Universally recognized and installed throughout the United States
California ADA standards require that geometric shape signs be placed on restroom doors. Plastic-molded signs include raised text and symbol only. Equivalent tactile Braille identification sign is to be installed on wall adjacent to door.
The shapes are:
• 12" equilateral triangle for men’s restroom;
• 12" diameter circle for women’s restroom; and
• 12" diameter circle with triangle for (unisex) restroom.
Signs must contrast with the restroom door color. Foam tape is included on the back for ease of installation.
