The regulatory requirements have changed for Cargo Aircraft Only Labels. IATA is allowing a transition period where either the old or new label is acceptable. The old labels can be used until December 31, 2012. The new labels (MSL219 - seen here) can be used voluntarily starting January 1, 2009, but is mandatory starting January 1, 2013.
Cargo Aircraft Only labels were designed to alert shipping personnel that packages containing certain dangerous goods must not be carried on an aircraft with passengers. The bright orange labels are very noticeable and comply with IATA, ICAO, and 49 CFR regulations.
